Julie Moore, Diploma in P.T. & Sports Massage, Therapy Registered IIHHT/IIST
Julie has always been involved in fitness and sport, in both team and individual events throughout her life, having taken her Running and Athletics to County Level. Julie represented Great Britain eight times in the Olympic Distance Triathlon in Mexico, Maderia, Switzerland, Portugal, France, Hawaii, Denmark and eventually won a Bronze Medal at Autun, France in 2006.
Julie has appeared on T.V. in a reality show back in 2002, “SAS Are you Tough Enough“. She was selected from over 1,000 applicants, and was one of just six ladies alongside twenty two men who took part.
Julie has also run her own fitness business since 2003. Called “No Butts Fitness” and based near Oswestry, it offers Physical Training, Indoor Cycling Classes, Circuits, Boxercise and many more activities, alongside Sports Massage Therapy.
Originally from Sutton Coldfield, and having lived in London for nearly 3 years, Julie moved to Oswestry in 2002. She continues to enjoy Running and Cycling and she is still actively competing in various events and challenges – Time Trials, Trail Races. She has completed 3 Marathons – London, Paris and Edinburgh and she was a Club Athlete for nearly 30 years. Julie cycled from JOGLE in 2009 – a 12 day ride, and yet again at LEJOG in 2014 – a 10 day journey. She has run Offa’s Dyke, which is a total of 178 miles in 7 days, walked a stretch of Hadrians Wall totalling 98 miles in 4 days, and has walked a circular route of 180 miles along Offa’s Dyke and Glydwrs Way, completely self sufficient over a period of 12 days, along with her two Border Collies.
Julie believes in all-round health and fitness through a balanced lifestyle, good nutrition, positivity and the great outdoors. Having been a full time working mother she has always continued to pursue personal challenges through fitness.
