We understand that embarking on a new type of treatment can be worrying so it important to know what’s going to happen.
We have an amazing team of receptionists what will attempt to answer all your questions prior to the consultation. Should you need more specific advice, our reception team will ask one of our Osteopaths to ring you back, to ensure Osteopathic treatment is the correct treatment for you.
On arrival at the clinic you will be asked to fill in some forms. These will provide detailed information on what to expect from treatment and our data protection information. Filling these in prior to the session will allow you time to ask your osteopath or the reception staff any questions you may have.
Once you have booked with us, we will email these forms to you with a confirmation of your appointment. Allowing time to read and digest the information at your leisure.
During your session your Osteopath….

- Explain what to expect during the session
- Talk about the pain you have
- Ask about your medical history
- May ask you to remove some clothing
- Will place hands on your body
- Will ask you to perform certain movements
- Will explain the diagnosis
- Will provide treatment and advice
